It is a pleasure and honor to be part of the Marshall School family. I have been an elementary teacher for 14 years, and the last nine I have been serving my profession here at Marshall school. I got my Bachelors in Science degree in Industrial engineering and spent six years working for the industry sector and for the United Nations. For three years I volunteered teaching adult education in the evenings in my home country of Mexico. So, after a long and thorough self-reflection, I decided to transfer and apply my technical skills and work experience to the educational sector with the purpose of helping prepare young minds meet their future challenges and be part of their developing academic foundations. Last year I got my Masters of education degree with emphasis in Quality Schools. This year I am teaching 5th. grade, it's a great year, much work, and lots of fun teaching my students. My hobbies are volunteering with my son in the Boyscouts outing activities, learning-practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and traveling around world.
